The Admission Process
It is of the utmost importance that children and Buzzy Bee Montessori are a good fit for each other. We want you to feel comfortable that BBM provides the environment that will be conducive to your child's growth, learning and happiness. To assure this, you and your child will be invited to visit BBM together prior to admission. This visit allows you and your child to get acquainted with the classroom and with the guide. The guide will get the opportunity to meet you, to learn more about your child's needs and to learn about your family. Following your visit, if you decide that BBM is the right fit for your family, you will complete an admission application. The forms comprising this application provide such information as emergency contact information, a brief medical history including any allergies or medical needs, as well as other pertinent information about you and your child. You may download the forms on this website or pick them up from BBM. The completed forms must be either emailed to or dropped off at BBM no later than the child's first day.
Waiting List
Children will be placed on a waiting list for new openings on a first come first serve basis. Openings will be filled from that list. However, consideration of age and gender balance for the group as a whole may influence admission from the waiting list. A deposit of $100 is required after the application process is completed. This deposit reserves a space in the program for your child and is applied towards the first month's tuition.
